Well guys, I don't use LJ as much anymore, it has been a long run and it was interesting to be here for years since I met the Cutewendy community to now.

I'll close this account in two weeks, I'm not even sure if I'll come back with other username, besides, nothing interesting happens in my life just to write it here everytime(unless you like to hear me being hyped about videogames and anime, I dunno).

04:27 pm: Metroid Prime 3 and the Manga Con 2007
The European release of Metroid Prime 3 will be in the 26 of this month, I reserved it a while back and I'll be getting it.

Also, there is the manga con that is celebrated at month's end and I usually blow cash on mangas, but I guess since I use the money to buy MP3 and I bought Super Paper Mario a while back, I guess I'm now broke.
I'll be going, of course, and I'll be taking photos as well.

The Nameless Story, Strip #206

You know, thinking about this and updating the comic for yourself isn't bad at all, I know this is not professional thinking and I should be working and be competitive in this medium, but eh, there are better things in life than dragging your head around in frustration screaming "Why nobody is reading my comic" and all that angst, it's not worth it.
It takes me back when I updated in a M-W-F schedule, I got better and then slowed down and now I update when I feel like it, and is a comic I can enjoy working on and at my pace.

I still feel that starting the comic as an RPG parody was an extremely bad idea, the idea to edit the old strips to remove all the RPG game cliche and references would look rushed and half assed, so I should continue my old project of creating "director's cut" editions of old strips, so my page at ComicSpace has more use than before.

I may be a really weird person, but I'm more hyped for pokemon Pearl's release over here(3 days left) than buying the latest harry potter book, even if I like to read the books.

Also, Yuji, Kajico, Where do you get your Gurren Lagann fix? I need it!

The finals were hard but I managed to finish, I finished a strip for my very sporadic comic I was working on and now I'm playing videogames.

New TNS Strip: "Speaking with the reaper"

When I entered summer vacations, I bough a Classic Controller for the Wii and a 2000 points card.
I purchased Lylat Wars and DKC2 from the Wii shop and I've had a lot of fun.

I decided to rent a movie, I was searching for The rocky horror picture show, but they didn't have it, then I searched for something else that may grab my interest so I looked and found Transformers the (animated) movie , you know, that one with Unicron and certain beloved leader's demise. Good thing it had the neutral spanish voice track, I grew up with that dub when I was watching oldschool Transformers in south america.

Recently, I got  Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition, I never got to play the GC or the PS2 versions, so it was fair for me to get it, the game is really awesome, I pumped like 18 or more hours to finish the game, Regenerators scare me the most and the remote and nunchuck controls are really good.

Nitpicking time:
1. Wouldn't have hurt Capcom to hire real spanish people to voice act the villagers?
2. Plague carrying humans refer to Ada as a he, I'm angry.

09:45 pm: AirRade Air, addictive manic shooter, in before weeaboo.
I have been on a Shmup mood lately.

I downloaded the full version of AirRade Air after playing the demo and I'm addicted to it.

AirRade air is a doujin shooter based on the anime named Air, show made by the people who made the anime Kanon.

At first the game may seem easy, but when you get in the half of the second stage, it gets hard as hell, I've goten half way through the stage four so far.
There are many hidden characters to be unlocked, I haven't unlocked any yet though.


PS: Yes Yuji28go, I embraced the word Weeaboo.

11:20 pm: I didn't go to the Con today, but I kicked ass as Dan Hibiki
The Comic Convention of Barcelona of the year 2007 started today thursday 19 and will end this sunday 23.

I wasn't feeling in the mood to assist to the Comic Con today, but I continued with a plan I had with some friends I have in the school I attend, that is, play fighting videogames.
We went to my house and had some Coca-cola with pizza for lunch.
Since I abandoned the fighting genre for too long I was pretty rusted, I still knew how to rock with Dan Hibiki and use Shun Goku Satsu with Akuma.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 = I kicked ass using Dan, because Dan is fuck awesome!

Super Smash Bros Melee = my friends only played the N64 one before, but they got used to the improvements, at first I was beating them to a pulp, but later they could handle it pretty well, then in the end one of my friends managed to defeat me.

Guilty Gear XX = those guys were pro's at it, I had Guilty Gear X and stopped playing it from a long time, returning to see that they rehashed the old scenarios was kinda tedious for me, but my pals told me that this is the new "Street Fighter II", and they were kinda right.
I was getting my ass handed on a silver plate, I was getting the rhythm of the game until they choose a MANLY MAN named Bridget.
Me: "Stop making me doubt of my sexuality!!!"
Friends: "ROFL!"

Saint Seiya: The Hades = I never played this game before, therefore I was in their ground, from my friends, the one who owned the game, owned me hardcore as well, talk about payback time, uh?

Capcom Fighting Jam = we played few matches, it was balanced, but still, I didn't like the game, it was like a bad mugen game for PS2.

Capcom VS SNK 2 = I owned the game, yeah, but it's out of my reach right now, my friend brought his copy over and was beating me into a pulp with Nakoruru(sore loser, LOL), the bad man to ensure his victory did choose Rugal as his last character, I was getting punched the seven days to sunday(about ten victories of difference), until I started recovering my fighting skills periodically and I kept choosing Dan Hibiki and King then I could beat his team at last.

Pokemon XD = We played quick battles with random rented pokemon, it was quite amusing.


Well, I'll try to go to the con tomorrow, I better do. :)

01:26 am: I got Sonic and the secret rings!
A really good game, kinda difficult at first, but it gets better.

Man, it's been a while since I played a Sonic game that gave emphasis on zooming through stages at ridiculously high speed.

My arms are aching, but like they say: No pain, no gain!

02:30 pm: THOUSAND BLADES!!!
I got Castlevania Portrait of Ruin last friday, the game is a really good addition to the serie.

Also this game makes me think of  a drinking game about "take a shot everytime you see a Jojo's reference".
Man, IGA must be a huge Jojo's Bizarre adventure fan, even Maria has her own stand.

I haven't tried online yet.

I bough GODHAND today, it got it's release here like three days ago.

I've been playing it and it is really awesome, this game is about kicking ass in the streets with your free style martial arts and using the powerful Godhand.

So, who else has played it and enjoyed it?
